Happy Monday, friends!
Here’s to a new week, but most importantly today! Take a moment this morning, a moment for you.
Today is good, it’s here, and it wouldn’t be the same without you. (That’s a fact)
So take it in, make it even better than it already is for you and those around you.
This morning my mind seems to be especially aware of what I’m thankful for, people, opportunities, memories, etc. Just sort of flooded with the good that has found its way to me over my years.
I know things are still difficult, uncomfortable, and frankly not okay on a large scale but in each day you get up and go about living, I hope you allow time to acknowledge and feel all the good from all your life.
Dwell on it for a few minutes or longer if you can.
Good morning & welcome to the checkpoint
Today is a a bit busy but never too busy for acknowledging others, acknowledging ourselves even.
Being halfway through our week is about reflecting on what we have done, how we’ve lived, who has interacted with us, anything and everything so far and what we might glean from it to apply to the rest of our week or the next day or even just the rest of this day.
Your time is yours but you are not here alone with your time. Perhaps today’s time would be better spent self caring to refresh/restore, maybe it would be better spent being a part of what restores someone else.
Good morning, all
I’ve been simultaneously filling my brain with info and spilling my thoughts on to paper all morning (still going)....
What’s the last thing you really sat and thought about and thought through? The last thing you discussed or debated?
I know there’s plenty people would like to avoid thinking to long or hard on but I encourage you to pick something... one thing (new) to really contemplate today with or without someone, internally or aloud.
the mind and the heart go hand in hand, we must remember to exercise them both.
Good morning, friends
You could say I was ready for the weekend, just a chance to slow down a bit, truly pause and let my mind wander, breathe deeply, walk slowly through the neighborhood before the rain hits... it’s a good day for it.
It’s a good day. There’s plenty to be thankful for, plenty to think about, plenty to say, plenty to be done... But it’s just a day. Do what you must but not so much you can’t enjoy at least sort of this time you have. Alright?
Be safe. Stay kind. Be kind. Stay safe
