May 11-15, 2020

MONDAY
Good morning!

Happy Monday!

How are you? Moving onwards and upwards, I hope. It gets so so easy to let the days go by or allow thoughts of the world to overwhelm/paralyze you. What can we do to break those cycles?

The answer to that is/looks different for everyone. I hope whatever life is specifically/uniquely throwing at you, you know that you’re equipped to handle it and that your well being is important.

For me i have to hear another voice, I have to call someone, anyone to get out my head. It helps me to commune with someone that knows me, that I know cares, that may or may not understand but takes the time to try. There are a lot of bad things that have been happening, are happening... we can’t let the weight of that crush us or keep us from being active, mobile, heard...

So keep working hard, keep moving, keep studying, keep creating, keep speaking, keep advocating, keep inquiring, keep doing your best, keep being kind...

Good morning!
Running behind but it’s such a nice day today!

I hope the week is off to a good start for you.

Remember we’re often capable of more than we give ourselves credit for, so go easy on yourself and press on! I hope today brings you something sweet and memorable. Make the most of it!

WEDNESDAY
Good morning!

I hope you’re well. How are you? Really, how are things going? How are you feeling? What’s this week been like so far?

Reflect. Pause. Breathe. And let today be your focus. What do we want out of today? What can be done today? No use fretting over what we can’t change about yesterday or letting tomorrow’s tasks overwhelm your mind. (I know easier said than done... I have an especially hard time with this.)

Today is about exercising or practicing that better self, leaning in to our own humanity and truly acknowledging the humanity of others... how will you do this today? What might this look like for you?

THURSDAY
Good morning!

This morning did not go as expected... by any means. I’m not sure if my body was more exhausted than I knew or it was too much computer screen time or what... but I’m up and getting started with the day’s work.

Im not sure if you’re getting started, have been up , or are still sleeping.... regardless, Thursday is here for you to do what you need to do.

We are making our way through something big.. how you feel matters, what you think matters, but it’s your response both in and out of your home that carry the most weight, the most influence.

FRIDAY
Good morning! Happy Friday!

What has this week taught you? What did you get finished or start? Be sure to take a minute and think back on the days, sift through the monotony for lessons or noteworthy moments.

Today is happening. My hope is that you find your own way to give it meaning, to make it one you can say you used to the best of your ability..

If you’re not having the best week, feel those feelings but look for a way through, ways to the otherside of hardship or pain... and if you can’t, reach out to a friend or loved one who can envision you on the otherside of your problem.

Today is here and ready for anything and everything you need or want, whatever you feel, whoever you need to talk to. You just have to go for it.

Enjoy your day, friends.
