MARCH 16-20, 2020
Good morning, friends!
Hope you’re all well. We’ve arrived at another starting line, a new week and new day. Over here, we are dealing with the kinda weather that makes you want to stay home, but for most of us that’s just not an option.
So what say you get yourself up and ready! Say a prayer or that morning mantra, or a few things you appreciate or a couple goals for the day out loud. Ready yourself for the kind of day you would want it to be and the kind of person you would want others to be to you.
You matter. Today matters. Let’s strive for the best from both.
I know s’only Tuesday but whether you are spending it at home or at work, make it worth it.
Due your due diligence in whatever tasks or goals you’ve set out. This is no time to waste or standstill. Continue to be kind and courageous despite how others might choose to be. You are good. We need good.
Still a little shaken by the state of things but holding onto hope. My institution has just released students from clinicals for two weeks and we are now a part of the majority of citizens who are staying home.
That being said, it’s still Wednesday, we are still here, and our humanity calling out more than ever. It’s midweek and the theme has not changed.
Call or text a loved one, old friend, whoever you feel might need it. Work on those big or little to do’s. Be creative. Be considerate. Donate to a community in need. There is always a way to exercise our humanity, our compassion, our kindness.
I didn’t set an alarm last night but it’s okay because I live in the most thoughtful community where I was awaken (right in time) by the sweet melodies of construction right outside my window. An alarm Im afraid has yet to be silenced...
But guess what?! I’m up, sun’s out, and it’s a good day!
Use these mornings, these days well friends. Routines have been altered but the time in this day is no less yours and no less a gift.
Hope you’re all well. Be a source of kindness and light heartedness in your spheres!
Hi! Good morning, friends!
Grace is the message of the day.
Be ever mindful of how you are treating and speaking to others. Be mindful of how blame never advanced any good or great effort. Remember there is more than just you and yours existing and dealing with life’s trials.
Let grace be granted as readily as you would hope to receive in your lesser moments.
You can still enjoy your day, your weekend, and those you share in them with (even if it’s over the phone). Let’s all take care!!
