JUNE 8-12, 2020
Welcome to a new week, a new day.... this time is yours. Take a deep breath, let your mains remain calm/still while you can.... if you have a mantra, recite it or say prayer, or few positive statements aloud for yourself, or what you want from the day even.
This time is yours... peace is still yours to seek and grasp, to share with others... as is kindness, compassion, and enlightenment.
Today will not wait, so be sure to show up, friends.
What’s been on your mind lately? What’s been the weight you carry? Maybe things are good for you/your family right now? What are you grateful for? What are you preparing for next?
We could ask ourselves these questions and so many more all day, any day... sometimes we do.
But we are not here to think and talk by ourselves only. Think about the people in your life, the ones that have made a difference once or too many times to count. Something we don’t allow to occupy our minds often is what we truly think of and appreciate about others in depth, detail.
Try that today.
Good morning, friends
We made it... halfway through the week, time to check in with yourself and those around you or those dear to you, maybe even a passerby.
What is needed of us to show ourselves and others kindness, grace, and understanding costs nothing but a little time. Our experiences, both good and bad, when shared have the power to not only aid or inform one another but even heal and restore.
Find the time today.
As the week moves forward, for me the recurring thought/theme appears to be “what are some of the things that you could afford to move forward from?”
“What am I holding on to, that is distracting, destructive, or just not contributing at all?”
Sometimes these are feelings (me), sometimes people (me), sometimes tasks (me) , sometimes simply expectations (me)...
Are these things keeping you from adopting a more helpful and healthy perspective? Do they make it difficult to acknowledge and appreciate good things already in your life and good things coming into your life?
Follow this thought.. maybe you have more questions. Maybe asking them is the key to recognizing that you’re gripping too tightly to something or someone. It’s never a bad time to pause and assess regardless of whether the outcome is change or not.
Good morning, all
It has been a week, friends... well almost, we still have today! Remember this.
Today is not determined by what the week has been so far unless you make it so.
Today has its own purpose, own opportunities, its own lessons.
Persevere, friends. Hold tight to your joy and your peace. Continue to seek help when you need it and offer it when you’re able.
Enjoy your day and weekend. Take care.
Stay safe. Be kind
